French flavour reinterpreted!
Baked brie with chicory chutney, thyme and crispy baguette - the perfect mix of creamy comfort and fine flavour!
Chicory chutney:
500 g chicory, cut into strips
125 g sugar
2 dl white balsamic vinegar
1 pinch of salt
150 g Brie
Black pepper
1 baguette, sliced
Oil for frying
4 sprigs of thyme, leaves plucked
Chicory chutney:
Simmer all the ingredients in a pan for 1 hour until the liquid has a syrupy consistency.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven).
Place the Brie on a baking tray and season with black pepper. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Toast the baguette slices in oil until golden brown.
Serve the baked Brie with the chicory chutney and baguette. Sprinkle with thyme.
