Matcha and chocolate marble cake
Recipe serves 8
Preparation time: 30min

Dough:
175g sugar
75g crème fraîche
1 pinch of salt
3 eggs
135g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
50g butter, melted
2 table spoons cacao powder
1 table spoon matcha powder

Glaze:
150g choccolate (65% cacao)
50g butter, diced
25g pistachios, chopped

Grease a cake tin (19x7cm) with butter. Preheat oven to 150°C.

Mix sugar, crème fraîche and salt. Add eggs and stir. Add flour and baking powder and mix dough well. Add melted butter and mix shortly.

Half the mixture. Flavour one half with cacao powder, the other half with matcha powder. Fill alternatively into cake tin and marble with a fork.

Bake for 50 minutes. Remove cake from tin and place on a rack to cool.

Melt chocolate and butter over a water bath. Pour glaze over the cake and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
