200g soft butter
3 eggs
200g plain white flour
1 table spoon baking powder
170g honey
40g poppy seeds
Topping:
250g mascarpone
zest and juice of 1 lemon
1 table spoon honey
Preheat oven to 170°C.
Grease a 24 cm springform pan.
In a bowl beat the butter until fluffy. Add the eggs little by little. Mix flour with baking powder and add. Mix in honey and poppy seeds.
Pour the mixture into the springform pan and bake 35 minutes.
Topping: Mix all ingredients ans spread on the cooled cake.
